How Togsnap collects, uses, and protects your information. By using
Togsnap you agree to the terms below.
1. Who we are
Togsnap is an AI-powered photo album application that lets you upload
photos, generate AI-enhanced images and albums, and manage your
personal content.
Photos and images. When you use features that
create AI albums or enhance images, you voluntarily upload photos
from your device. These images are transmitted to our secure cloud
storage and to our AI processing provider only to generate the
output you requested.
Support communications. If you contact us via email
or WhatsApp, we receive the information you send (your email
address, message content, and any attachments).
2.2 Information collected automatically
Account identifiers. When you first launch the App
we create an anonymous account identifier via Firebase
Authentication so we can associate your content and purchases with
your device. No name, email, or phone number is required.
Device identifier. A device-level identifier (UDID)
to distinguish devices, prevent abuse, and reconcile purchases.
Purchase data. Our payments processor (RevenueCat,
together with Apple App Store or Google Play) processes the
transaction and shares transaction metadata (product ID, price,
currency, status) with us. We never receive or store your full
payment card details.
Approximate location. Approximate country and
public IP address, used to understand where our users are located,
to comply with regional laws (pricing, tax, sanctions), and for
fraud prevention.
Device and usage information. Operating system
(iOS/Android), app version, language, and basic diagnostic events.
Locally stored preferences. Language selection,
onboarding status, and similar settings are stored on your device.
We do not:
collect your real name, email address, phone number, or contacts
unless you actively send us a support message,
access your camera roll or photos in the background — photos are
read only when you explicitly pick them through the system
picker,
sell your personal data to third parties.
3. How we use your information
Provide the core features of the App.
Process and manage your purchases and subscriptions.
Personalize the App (language, region, product availability).
Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
Debug and improve the App and AI output quality.
Comply with legal obligations.
Respond to your support requests.
We do not use your uploaded photos to train
third-party AI models. Photos are processed only to generate the
output you requested.
4. AI processing
Togsnap uses Firebase AI (powered by Google's Gemini models) to
generate AI-enhanced images and albums. When you upload a photo for
AI processing:
The image is transmitted to Google Firebase AI over an encrypted
connection.
The image is processed only to generate your requested output.
Google's Firebase AI terms apply to that processing. We do not
authorize Google to use your content to improve their public
models.
5. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy
policy governing how they handle data.
For internal operational monitoring, purchase and new-install events
(with country and IP address, without personal identifiers) may be
forwarded to our private Telegram administrative channel.
6. Data retention
Photos and albums: stored until you delete them
from within the App or until you request account deletion.
Account identifier and device ID: stored while the
App is installed and until account deletion is requested.
Purchase records: retained for the period required
by tax and accounting laws (typically up to 10 years) and by our
payments provider.
Diagnostic logs: typically up to 90 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA,
KVKK, and similar laws), you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
Object to or restrict processing.
Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable
format.
Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting
prior processing).
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection
authority.

8. Account and data deletion
You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated
data (including photos, albums, and identifiers) at any time by:
Using the "Delete account" option in the App's Settings (if
available in your version).
We will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is
required by law (e.g., tax records for completed purchases).
9. Children's privacy
Togsnap is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where
required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided us
with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it
promptly.
10. Security
TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
Encryption at rest for photos and Firestore records.
Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorized API access.
Anonymous authentication so no personal login credentials are
stored.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot
guarantee absolute security.
11. International data transfers
Your data is processed on Google Cloud and RevenueCat infrastructure,
which may store and process data in the United States and other
countries. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. Where
required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent
safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes
will be announced in the App or by updating the "Last updated" date
at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take
effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
